CCA and Void jointly present the next Civic Conversation, which takes place in the Thatched Cottage, Craft Village, Derry.

This open forum discussion is designed to involve and engage local communities during the City of Culture year and to provide a public space for discussion, inquiry and critique. On the panel are Glasgow-based writer and critic, Rebecca Gordon-Nesbitt, Culture Company CEO, Shona McCarthy, and journalist and writer Eamonn McCann. The event is facilitated by writer and filmmaker, Derek O’Connor.

The theme of this Civic Conversation is ‘Reflecting on the Aspirations and Outcomes of City of Culture at the Halfway Point’. The discussion is focused around taking stock of what has been achieved so far in 2013, and anticipating what the legacy of City of Culture may be using previous culture-led regeneration projects as a guide.
