Dye Lab for NI Science Festival 2022

Thank you artist Lyndsey McDougall and all our wonderful participants who came to CCA for the Dye Lab workshop as part of NI Science Festival 2022!

It was great to have people coming together in the gallery for an event after all this time. Lyndsey talked the group through her textile and embroidery practice, and showed them methods of natural fabric dyeing using ingredients like flower petals, spices and leaves. We hope to host more events like this in the gallery very soon! In the meantime, our current exhibition Ferox is open Tuesday–Saturday, noon–6pm.
