Announcing the IKT Congress 2014
CCA is pleased to announce that we will host the Congress and General Assembly of the International Association of Curators of Contemporary Art (IKT) in April of 2014. The programme will be developed by IKT members Aileen Burns and Johan Lundh in collaboration with eva International and the Limerick City Gallery of Art.
IKT brings together curators from across the world, to meet, share knowledge, exchange ideas and broaden their professional networks. The organisation was founded in 1973 and its early members included prominent curators such as Eberhard Roters, Eddy de Wilde, and Harald Szeemann. The aim of IKT is to stimulate and extend debate concerning curating. The organisation currently has over 500 members from across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
