As part of ongoing research that considers how we remember and commemorate difficult histories, visual artist Roisín McGuigan would like to invite you to join her for an afternoon of cake and conversation, which will take place in tandem with her exhibition /nɪˌɡəʊʃɪˈeɪʃn/, /ˌkɒnvəˈseɪʃn/ (negotiation, conversation).
Through this informal discussion participants will have the chance to share their thoughts and collectively explore the benefits, challenges and processes of remembering and commemorating the past.
