To accompany Eamon O’Kane’s Where there are people there are things, CCA screens a double bill of My summer 77 with Gordon Matta-Clark (1977-2012) and Robinson in Ruins (2010).

My summer 77 with Gordon Matta-Clark is a short film produced by Cherica Convents in 2012 from her own 35-year-old footage of the artist as he was preparing one of his last building cuts, ‘Office Baroque’, in Antwerp, Belgium.

Robinson in Ruins is the third of Patrick Keiller’s feature-length poetic documentaries centred around fictional protagonist Robinson, a postmodern flâneur drifting through the blighted rural landscape of millennial England. For further information, please see reviews here and here.
