Sara Greavu appointed as Queer Arts Development Leader at Outburst
CCA congratulates Sara Greavu on her appointment as Queer Arts Development Leader at Outburst Queer Arts Festival. Sara has been with CCA since 2012 and as Head of Public Programmes she leaves a legacy of projects and events that over the years included the Our Neighbourhood project, talks by artists such as Turner Prize nominee Naeem Mohaiemen, screenings including Bisbee ’17, community events linked to our exhibition programme such as the activist screen-printing project and natural wine tasting, and establishing the intermittent reading group booksvscigarettes and CCA’s schools programme. Sara also curated exhibitions including Of Other Bodies, Lavish & Judicious, and West Hinder by Elizabeth Price and was CCA’s Interim Director from 2017–18.
CCA thanks Sara for her valuable contribution to the organisation – continuing to build our organisation’s international reputation, providing opportunities and support for emerging artists, and for her innovative approach to public Programmes – and we wish Sara every success for the future.
The recruitment details for CCA’s new Public Programmes Curator will be available on our Opportunities page.
