Production CCA Open Call

CCA is pleased to present our annual open call for emerging artists with a connection to our region, Production CCA. This year's proposals will be assessed by artist Willie Doherty, curator Anja Lückenkemper, and CCA’s Aileen Burns and Johan Lundh. The recipients exhibition will be presented at CCA at the same time The Turner Prize is on display in the city. The jury will review applications and select an artist, duo or group, to realise a specific project. No age limit applies to this call but the applicant needs be in the earlier stages of his or her career and have a connection to Northern Ireland. Applicants must demonstrate that the project can be realised in six-months and within the specified budget. The selected project will be supported with a production budget of £6,500 and an award of £2,000. Production CCA has been made possible through the generous support of Arts & Business NI, Caldwell & Robinson Solicitors, The Arts Council of Northern Ireland, and 2013 City of Culture Derry~Londonderry. The deadline is Sunday, April 28th, at midnight (Greenwich Mean Time). Apply by sending a project description (up to 500 words), a curriculum vitae (no more than 2000 words), an estimated budget, and up to 10 images or/and links to audio/visual works.
