Opening of Anna Adahl - Common Patterns

CCA is pleased to present an exhibition of new work by Swedish artist Anna Ådahl. Common Patterns opens on Saturday 6th June from 7pm to 9pm, and continues until 25th July. The opening will be preceded by a walking tour and conversation at 6pm between the artist and Declan Hill of the Forum for Alternative Belfast, looking at the specific choreographies of the built environment in Derry city centre. To accompany the exhibition, CCA’s library space will feature a film and a selection of publications made by OEI magazine editors Jonas (J) Magnusson and Cecilia Grönberg. OEI is a magazine, publishing house and platform for extra-disciplinary spaces and de-disciplinising moments; experimental forms of thinking; montages between poetry, art, philosophy, film, and documents; editorial enunciations and aesthetic technologies; alternative historiographies and speculative ethnography. Anna Ådahl is a member of the editorial committee of OEI.
