We are delighted to announce that CCA Derry~Londonderry has secured funding through a Respond and Reimagine grant to facilitate a website upgrade and deliver a dynamic online programme of events in 2021.
With this grant, we are working with NI-based digital agency Myth to update and modernise our website to make it fully functional, accessible and capable of hosting an online programme. Beyond this total revamp, we will be presenting a variety of digital events throughout 2021 including more CCA Round Table podcasts, artist takeovers, online screenings and digital residencies via our new website. As part of this grant we are expanding the role of our Marketing Assistant Fiona Allan to allow for the curation of the upcoming online content and dedicated maintenance of the new website.
Art Fund’s Respond and Reimagine grants offer responsive funding to help museums adapt to the challenges of the Covid-19 crisis and reimagine future ways of working. Museums and galleries provide inspiration, joy, and education, enriching lives and bringing communities closer together, but the impact of Covid-19 has been catastrophic for many. Since the first lockdown began in March 2020, Art Fund has awarded a total of £2.25m in emergency funding, enabling 67 institutions to respond with innovation to the pandemic. The full list of recipients from across the UK and their projects can be found on the Art Fund press release page.
