Call for Researcher-in-Residence Extended
CCA’s programming during City of Culture will creatively explore and critically examine questions around notions of labour and spare-time. During next year, we are looking to host someone with a PhD in art, art history or a related field in residence.
The research residency would include a modest fee and access to a shared desk, a research library, and overnight accommodations in the city (when available). In return, CCA would like the recipient to present their research publicly with the possibility publish it through CCA Editions. The research would commence in January 2013 and run throughout December the same year.
The exact scope and focus can be determined in collaboration with CCA after being awarded the residency. The proposed research undertaken does not have to relate to CCA’s programming, however, it would be considered an asset. We encourage applicants to look into additional support from Universities or funding bodies, and will support a successful applicant in applying for more resources.
Due to considerable interest in this position, the deadline for expressions of interest has been extended until Friday, October 5ht. An expression of interest should be sent to the following email address: apply@cca-derry-londonderry.org. The application should not exceed three pages and support material no more than ten (no large files such as high-resolution images or videos, please).
