CCA Derry~Londonderry has partnered with Art Night 2021 to screen Alberta Whittle’s film trilogy Creating dangerously (we-I insist!) in the CCA Project Space, Tuesday 6 July–Saturday 17 July. Booking for this event is essential and can be done through our online shop.
As part of the Reciprocal Residencies exhibition at CCA Derry~Londonderry, Agnés Varda’s 1985 film ‘Vagabond’ has been selected to accompany the work of Ginte Regina. The film is the story of a female nomad drifting through rural France. This complex character lives on hand-outs and disregards social norms. Travelling in a space between freedom and captivity, Mona is a character that defies categorisation, living at the edge of society and avoiding narrative convention.
Curzon is offering our audience a one time code for 15% discount to watch the film online, valid from Tuesday 1 September 2020 until Wednesday 30 September 2020. To make use of this offer, sign up here for the free Curzon Home Cinema Service and use the code CCADERRY15 at checkout.
106 minutes. French with English subtitles. Cert 15.
