Info

An exhibition of children’s art made in response to Production CCA as part of the Prince’s Foundation for Children and the Arts Great Art Quest, is presented at CCA. Children from four local primary schools – The Fountain, Belmont House Special School, St. Oliver Plunkett and Gaelscoil Éadain Mhóir – participated in a programme of workshops led by visual artist Laura Duran and storyteller Abby Oliviera.

Each year the Great Art Quest introduces children from at least 16 primary schools in the UK to the visual arts by partnering them with local galleries, professional artists and storytellers. For many of the children taking part in Great Art Quest this is their first experience of visual arts in a professional gallery setting. Following visits to their local gallery and workshops with artists and storytellers, Great Art Quest culminates in a perhaps once in a lifetime opportunity to exhibit their work in a professional gallery.

This project is kindly supported by The Prince’s Foundation for Children and the Arts.
