From Passion to Profession: An Illustrator's Journey
As part of Learning Day for Ireland 2020, CCA Derry~Londonderry brings you an interview with North West Illustrator Shannon Patterson. This video presents an honest account from Shannon on how she has turned her passion for drawing into employment. Shannon is in a position where the work is becoming more steady and she is now earning enough to go full time with her practice. We hear about the transition, the highs and lows, practical tips on promotion, where she makes her work, overcoming obstacles, staying motivated and tips on getting started.
