The Centre for Contemporary Art Derry~Londonderry returns to this year's Derry Halloween festival programme with Samhain Pennent Workshop. These creative, family friendly workshops are designed by artist Amber McLaughlin.
CCA invites you to our Halloween workshops suitable for all ages. Using three colours of card you will have the chance to create original Halloween Pennants to take home and display during the Halloween season. This activity is suitable for beginners and Halloween craft enthusiasts. Spooky source material will be available for inspiration to help you create your own bewitching banners. Members of the team will be on hand during the sessions.
These tickets are £5 per adult and child. For example, if you are booking for yourself and your child, please select 2 tickets. Children aged 2 and under do not need a ticket. Book your ticket via CCA's online shop here.
Amber McLaughlin is a local Derry based artist
Her work revolves around subculture from a female perspective. Using oil paint and liquin she creates a hazy image of women in subculture to reflect a personal nostalgia for a time desired, romanticised but not lived.
