Presenting the fourth artist of this year's CCA Introducing programme: Niall McCallum, who will takeover CCA's Instagram on Friday 27 October 2023. Niall is a visual artist from Belfast who currently lives and works in Glasgow. He has recently had a solo exhibition at Boardroom Committee Room, Path Users (2023) and has shown work as part of Muine Bheag Arts (2022).

CCA Introducing is a series of takeovers by early-career artists, with each artist nominated by an artist or curator who has previously taken part in CCA Derry~Londonderry's programmes or exhibitions. Niall has been nominated by artist Mark Buckeridge, CCA's Reciprocal Resident 2022 whose exhibition 4 Ballads was presented at CCA.

Alongside Niall's takeover of CCA's Instagram, he will present an on-site work. The on-site work, which has no title, will be created by the CCA staff present on the day. Coordinated through instructions sent via email, the work will use material taken from private spaces within the Artillery Street building and will only be viewable in person.
