CCA is developing an Artist Information Area in to help anyone researching artists and initiatives find out about what is happening in our region!

It will begin simply with a set of shelves and every artist and arts organisation in the North and North West is invited to contribute materials to be included in a box file for visitors to look through. Artists can include images of work, publications, prints, press releases, texts, flyers, CVs or anything else they would like researchers to look at.

You can cultivate the contents of your box file in any way you wish.

On Saturday 9 May 2026 from 1–4pm CCA is hosting a gathering event for artists wanting to collate their box files over a cup of tea at CCA. CCA is also offering its printer for any artists wanting to print or photocopy materials for their box files to reduce any barriers to being included in the AIA.

No need to book, simply drop in and join in.

If you want to contribute materials for your box file but cannot make this date you can post materials or drop it into CCA in person - make sure your materials are clearly marked with your name, a contact email and location.
