For Foyle Pride 2023 CCA invites artist and maker Jack McGarrigle to deliver Queers Won't Be Quiet: Placard & Patch Workshop taking place in CCA on Friday 25 August 2023, 4PM–6PM.

No Pride Parade would be complete without the vibrant sea of creative placards and banners. Colourful, hard-hitting or witty, they can be any or all of these, always aiming to inspire.

Whether it is a message of love or a message of protest, come along and express your message of pride on a placard or a fabric patch. Materials will be provided and feel free to bring any personal materials you would like to use.

Pride is anti-capitalist. Pride is a protest.

Places are limited and booking is essential for this free workshop. This event is for participants aged 16 and over. After booking we will contact all participants and you can tell us any access requirements that we can help with.
